The Middletown Township Republican Committee (Middletown Delco GOP) is always on the hunt for residents who want to run for office and serve. If you have the time and willingness, there is perhaps no better way to help us fulfill our collective mission than to accept an open position.

Middletown Councilmember

Serve a 4-year term on the Middletown Township Council.

What a council member does:

Draft and vote on local laws, ordinances, and policies.
Oversee the township’s budget, managing financial allocations for essential services.
Represent community concerns and actively engage with residents.
Guide urban planning, economic development, and public safety initiatives.

Rose Tree School Board Member

Serve a 4-year term on the Rose Tree School Board

What a school board member does:

Establish and adopt educational policies and standards in line with state law.
Review and approve the school district’s budget, ensuring proper resource allocation.
Oversee and evaluate the superintendent's performance and overall school operations.
Represent and engage with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to guide district direction.

Which Positions is Middletown Delco GOP Looking to Fill?
Middletown Delco GOP has had a strong foothold in our town council for two decades now, and we’ve got a presence in the Rose Tree School Board as well. We also have some local Republicans serving in other key positions.

But, we would very much like to find candidates to run to fill the following positions in the upcoming November 4th election

What Qualifications Do I Need to Hold Municipal Office?
You would need to be a legal resident of Middletown Township for at least 1 year, be an adult 18 years or older and have the time and willingness to serve faithfully.
