What a school board member does:
  • Establish and adopt educational policies and standards in line with state law.
  • Review and approve the school district’s budget, ensuring proper resource allocation.
  • Oversee and evaluate the superintendent's performance and overall school operations.
  • Represent and engage with parents, staff, and community stakeholders to guide district direction.
