What is a Committee Member?

A Committee Member (CM) is the representative of the Republican Party in your district or precinct (District 1, 2, 3, 4). The role is a volunteer who works to support GOP candidates, elections and activities. The Committee Member can make a difference to the support of our candidates and can make a difference during close campaigns and elections.

What does a Committee Member do?

There are many different things that a Committee Member may do over the course of a year.
Support Elections & Local GOP Voters

  • Get to know the Republicans in your precinct
  • Keep voters in your precinct aware and informed of upcoming election timetables and information
  • Assist in increasing voter registration (new neighbors, children turning 18, unregistered neighbors) in your precinct
  • Promote mail-in ballot applications
  • Assist in finding volunteers to work your precinct’s polling location on Primary and Election Days
  • Promote candidates endorsed by MTRC or the Delaware County GOP to your precinct voters.”
